Giclee Reproduction - What died in my mind
Giclee Reproduction - What died in my mind
“What died in my mind.”
I wrote this poem in a middle of the painting process:
He came for my bones,
That crow, he knows
What died in my mind
And what lingered behind.
No judgement from him
On my total defeat,
No judgement from me
On the way he should feed.
He came in daylight
To claim what he might.
“Don’t tag on it, crow,
I freely let go.
”From Earth came a whisper:
“Dead things cannot stay”,
So I laughed, and I cried,
And I gave them away.
